Painfully Beautiful Life

Life is so precious. It’s so fleeting. It’s so miraculous. It brings measureless joy. It brings excruciating pain. My heart is both full of sadness and full of joy--all at the same time! The ending of life often leaves us in a state of desperate longing. The ending of life can leave us in a state of hopeful anticipation. What can I make of this life? What a paradox it has come to be for me! What a heartache and what a joy...thank goodness for this painfully beautiful life.
