Sojourners Until the End

Life is precious. Gone before you know it. Life is addictive. Gone but not predictive. Cherish what you got. What you got is not promised. Oh, I know it gets hot. It sometimes gets unbearably restrictive. But please, oh please, play it out through the pain. Please, my friend, it's worth it...for the sake of them. The child, the wife, the father in pain. The one in the whirlwind who needs your precious spin. Don't pull the trigger. Not now. Not yet. But if you do, I'll never regret the friendship we had. The love we shared. As friends, as sojourners until the end.
